Along with doing your enlargements and printing, there are other services we are glad to provide.
If your print is going to be hanging where people can touch it, or in direct sunlight, it is a good idea to laminate it with a plastic-like film. This gives your print greater protection and does not lessen its quality or texture. If it’s a sign or banner, it may withstand the elements for some time if you place it outside without puncturing it. Just about any material can be laminated, even canvas.

Even though the substrates we use are premium quality and sometimes a heavier gauge than the norm, you may want your signage mounted on stiffer material such as gator board or foam core. Easels can be added so your sign will stand up straight without being hung.

If you like to have your work plaqued, our company of choice is Super Plak in St. Catharines. Helen and Murray Scott do a great job for us and do most of our lamination as well. They are quick.

If you need work done to enhance or repair a picture, we call upon our creative director or graphic artist to use their extensive skills to digitally get the job done to your satisfaction. They can design your signs, too, if need be.

You can send us the jpeg files, PSD, PDF or TIF's  files up to 5mg via e-mail, and that’s usually all we need to make a print for you. We can print from disks, too, of course. We use PC’s and primarily Photoshop CS3 which is pretty much a one-stop-shop type of software. The bigger the file, the higher the resolution and better the print will turn out. If you don’t have a scanned image we can scan it for you or send it to someone who can (larger pictures). Most customers like to chat about their job so the phone comes in almost as handy as a personal visit.

We can usually hand-deliver your prints if you are in the area and can’t pick them up. No charge.

Pricing

“One” in our business is a great order. Our average price for enlargements printed on Premium Photo gloss or satin is $6.50 per square foot. Unlike offset printers, our costs don’t shrink with every copy we print. But, we will crunch the numbers to make the deal good for you when you need a lot of prints. Our new HP Z3100 prints posters about eight times as fast as the old 2000 did. So doing a hundred is no problem. We work at home so we can work all night!
